MyTechnologyLawyer Escrow Services help you protect key technology assets including source code and trade secrets,as well as critical drawings, specifications and related documents. We place these materials in a secure facility for a one time set-up fee plus an annual deposit cost per year that is paid by your client. These services are rendered exclusively to Sponsors of the MyTechnologyLawyer Network. You can terminate the arrangement at any time.

A key consideration of the escrow arrangement is the escrow agreement used by the parties. Most escrow agreements provided to the parties by the Escrow Agent focus on protecting the Agent from liability. Our escrow agreements protect you and your customer, and resolve escrow issues in your favor.

Another distinguishing feature of the MyTechnologyLawyer Escrow Service is that separate copies of the escrowed materials are maintained for each beneficiary, thereby precluding the need for copies from a single version of the materials. Audits of escrowed material are conducted by separate auditors selected by the party conducting the audit, thereby validating the objectivity of the auditor and audit test.

Finally, unlike traditional software escrow companies, the MyTechnologyLawyer service structures the arrangement to allow vendors to receive source code escrow fees upon release of the source code to their customer.
