The Jacksonville Business Journal featured the launch of MyTechnologyLawyer.com in its March 26, 2001 issue.

Reporter Eric Cravey interviewed Scott Draughon for the story. Draughon described the website as an e-Commerce law firm, explaining that technology entrepreneurs can go to the Web and pay for proven technology law advice at prices lower than an office consultation.

MyTechnologyLawyer.com contains more than 125 online forms, which are also used at Draughon Professional Association law firm. It also contains about 80 streaming video clips covering a full range of technology law topics.

Information on the site is complementary, although most forms and office consultations involve a fee.

Draughon debuted MyTechnologyLawyer.com at the 2001 Technology Policy Conference at the University of North Florida after working on the project for about a year.
